White Space | Jillibean Soup

Hello Crafters!!! I hope this Thursday finds you well. I am digging out many of my layouts from the past several months to share. Seems all my nonsense got be a bit behind on loading up many of my projects. Today I have a layout I did for Jillibean Soup to share with you.

I am constantly trying to challenge myself with new design concepts and ideas. Sometimes my experiments work and other times they don't. White space is a design element I once embraced however lately I can't get comfortable with it. Not sure why my design focus shifted but it did. Awhile back I spotted a layout on 2 Peas in a Bucket with great use of white space. Of course now that I want to find that layout again I can't. I challenged myself to re-create the trapped white space look on this layout I did for Jillibean Soup.

I adored the trapped white space on the original layout I saw but for some reason the same concept didn't feel right when I put it in play on my layout. Don't get me wrong I like the way my layout turned out but I won't be trapping any white space in the near future it just didn't seem to flow with my style.

I hope you have a fabulous Thursday. Happy Crafting :)
