Jillibean Soup CHA wrap up part deux

Good morning as promised I have just a few more photos to share from the Jillibean Soup booth.

These next photos hopefully show off some of the little details from the booth. We are so very fortunate to have such a wonderful design team. The projects in the booth looked really fabulous. If you are a Jillibean Soup fan don't forget we are having a design team call check out our blog for more details.

Jillibean Soup CHA wrap up

Hello crafters after a wonderful week away at CHA in sunny warm California I made it home yesterday around noon. My bags are unpacked and my laundry is done. I am trying desperately to jump right back into my routine in order to keep the CHA hangover at bay.

After going through all my photos I have come to the conclusion there is way to much to show you in just 1 single post so I will spread the photos over 2 days.

This is the best full Jillibean Soup booth photo I took the whole time. I simply didn't take very many photos but thankfully our lightening was great so the few photos I did take turned out decent.

I was so proud of my doodles on these chalkboard trays. They aren't bad for a non doodler like myself.

Love the new blue chairs Jill added to the booth this year for so many reasons (like sitting down to total an order).

We cut down on the number of crates we brought to the show and this meant we didn't have as many pieces to decorate the booth with. So we went junking in the City of Orange. Jill is a treasure hunter and she found several great items. I loved the card holder in this photo it really was the perfect piece for the booth.

Stay tuned tomorrow for a few more shots from the totally fabulous Jillibean Soup booth.

January Colour Suite

Happy Wednesday welcome to the January Colour Suite a monthly colour challenge I put together for my friends at Scrapbook and Cards Today. This month I built the colour suite from one of my favorite colours, blue. I love all shades of blue and I often treat it as if it was a neutral. While I know it's traditionally considered masculine I like to think it's really gender neutral. I love making it feel girly.

Dec_2014_challenge

This month I took the liberty to step off the Colour Suite path. I like to think the Colour Suite is a guide and it's okay to add or remove any colour you like.

I took the liberty to add more more neutrals to my layout. Adding neutrals really didn't change the essence of the Colour Suite.

Thanks for joining me today for the November Colour Suite. To read more about this challenge or to check out my past challenges don't forget to make your way over to the Scrapbook & Cards Today website and Blog.

Happy crafting friends!

Hello from sunny California | CHA Day 2

Hello Crafters CHA opens today and I have lost track of my days.

You know it's the simple thing in life. We couldn't be more thrilled this year because we have lights in our booth. After a few shows in a dark corner with a light bulb out these lights made me giddy.

Thought you might enjoy some more messy booth photos from Jillibean Soup. I promise we cleaned all this up by the end of the day.

Tonight we left the show floor and it was sunny and warm. I couldn't resist a little photo California style.

Blogging from the breakfast table | CHA Day 1

Greetings crafters I am sitting at the breakfast table doing a little blogging. We don't have internet in our room and I really wanted to try to get a few photos up to share with you. The Jillibean booth is looking great.

We arrived yesterday to this ...

The walls were up and the crates were open. It was time to get to work unloading and organizing projects and product.

Headed out to CHA ... and a Jillibean Soup favorite

Greeting crafters. I am super excited to be headed out this afternoon for sunny warm California to attend CHA. The latest Jillibean Soup releases are by far my favorites. Internet access permitting I will be sharing photos from the show floor over the next few days. In the mean time I have a recent favorite Jillibean layout to share.

(Supplies Used: Bazzill Cardstock, Jillibean Soup Patterned Paper/Alphas/Stickers/Corrugated Shape, Wood Stars Studio Calico, Cork Arrows Fancy Pants, Doodlebug Enamel Dots, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, Silhouette Cutting System and fonts OldSansBlack and Veteran Typewriter)

This is a total mix of Jillibean papers. I pulled greys and greens from my stash. I keep all my scraps (REALLY) and I created a good portion of this design from scraps. Here are a few close up photos.

I love the modern triangle design of this layout. Look for it to show up again soon it just might end up being another ove of my favorite design elements (like circles).

If I don't update over the next week it means I don't have internet so make sure you join me in a week for the January 2014 Colour Suite. Happy Scrapping!

January | PageMaps

Happy New Year crafters. I escaped the craziness for a few days to celebrate New Years with friends. I needed a few days away and now I feel revitalized. So let's get the year started off with a PageMaps Becky Fleck sketch.

I kept the idea behind this sketch pretty much the same but just changed up the photos. I used 2 photos rather than 3 and I love to tilt them just a bit to offset all the straight lines of the sketch.
