A Favorite Layout

Back in June I did a guest spot for Jenni Bowlin using her mid release Playdate the end result was this layout.I found this line really refreshing to play with - the bold red, blue and yellow really set it apart from so many other lines coming out right now. One of the papers is a multi colored scallop this was one of my favorites from the group and it totally inspired me to do a layout about my son being on the swim team. The photos from the pool deck are horrible so I really had no choice but to make them black and white and keep them small.

(Supplies Used: Cardstock Bazzill/Core'Dinations, Patterned Paper Jenni Bowlin, Buttons Jenni Bowlin, Journaling Card Jenni Bowlin, Metal Swimming Accents Karen Foster, DMC Floss, Cuttlebug Harlequin Die, Quickutz Studio Alpha, Fiskars Circle Punch, and Font Bohemian Typewriter downloaded from the internet)

I couldn't resist pulling the banner from the photos and putting it on the layout it made so much sense. The Core'Dinations cardstock is a Jenni Bowlin pattern and I have to say there is something about the color and pattern that I absolutely adore I need to get my hands on a few more sheets of this stuff.

Happy Wednesday I hope you have a fabulous day we are off to swim lessons :)
