Remember my "to do" list ...

... well I think it's grown. I am proud to say I have actually crossed more than one item off that massive list. On my list was finishing up a project for my local Scrapbook Store - Life's a Scrapbook in Sherwood, Oregon. I used the a line from Reminisce called Unwritten. It's a super fun line with tone on tone patterns that are really easy to work with.

I couldn't resist falling into the banner trap. I really looks cute and I  have a ton more banner ideas although I feel like I am a bit behind on the trend.

Just to give you an taste of some of what I will be working on over the next few weeks ... I have product from Bo Bunny,Little Yellow Bicycle, and Crate Paper. And that doesn't include all the projects I have planned for Scrapbook and Cards Today and Jillibean Soup.

Later this week more gift bags ... ENJOY and happy paper crafting.

TO DO ...

My "TO DO" list is about a mile long right now and here is the proof. So I guess since I am posting I can cross blogging off the list, right? And this is only the first page. It feels as if every time I cross something off the list I add 3 more things.

How about a card that just makes me happy. It's super simple and so much fun all you need is a little Jillibean Soup and a pinch of creativity.

Floral Fun

We were out exploring the other day enjoying the brilliant sunny weather earlier this week and I happened upon the coolest handcrafted floral centerpiece. I couldn't resist taking a  few photos since there is no way I would pay the 300$ price tag.

The flowers looked to be a combination of crocheted and velvet clusters. It was absolutely glorious and it makes me want to learn to crochet. I keep looking a this thinking I could make this ... right?

Speaking of flowers did you see the cool floral tutorial my friend Lisa put up on her blog today. If not you have to go check it out. Now those flowers are ones I could easily make without learning a whole other craft.

All this makes me want to dig into some scraps of  fabric and get crafty. Thanks for sharing in my floral moment. Have a good one!

Spring is here

Wait!

Stop!

What happened to the first 3 months of the year? I am not sure why it seems like the year is flying by but WOW if today's weather is any indication of our spring to come then bring it on cause it was simply gorgeous here.

Today is officially the first day of spring break for the kids. We aren't going anywhere (we generally tend to stick  close to home this time of year favoring traveling during the summer). So I decided we should plan little daily outings. Today we went to IKEA. OK I admit this was merely for my benefit not the kids but don't tell them that.

I have a spring break layout to share. I did it about a year ago for Memory Makers. It's one of my all time favorite 2 page layouts I have done in recent years. I still really like everything about it a year later.Travel-HWY-101-version-2 (2)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
