Greeting from up north. I am celebrating National Scrapbook Day in
the most festive way hanging out with the Crop n' Create crowd in
Burnaby/Vancouver BC.
As the resident color fanatic for Scrapbook & Cards Today I thought I would focus on an up an coming color trend: gold.I decided to do a layout featuring a collection of cheer photos from this last season. The photos were busy so I kept my layout simple and showing off touches of gold for a bit of added luxury. The collection of stars is a mix of chipboad, rubons, wood veneers and cut outs from patterned paper. I love the mix of elements and sprinkling them from the upper left corner to the lower right corner adds movement and flow to my layout.
(Supplies Used: Bazzill Cardstock, Patterned Paper Pink Paislee/Basic Grey, Alphas Pink Paislee, Rubons Pink Paislee, Chipboard Pink Paislee, Stamps Technique Tuesday, Embossing Powder Recollections, Top Boss Ink, Wood Veneers from Freckled Fawn, Corner Rounder, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, and font Veteran Typewriter downloaded from the internet)
I'd like to thank my wonderful sponsor Pink Paislee for the awesome Luxe products that helped me create this layout today.
