Last month I was a guest teacher for Masterful Scrapbooking. Our focus was inspiration: where do you get it and how does it translate on to your layouts. I thought it would be fun to take a little peek at one of my projects from the class.
This layout features one of my favorite photos. I don't consider myself a fabulous photographer by any means but sometimes I get lucky. The focal photo of this layout was simply that: lucky. I happened to be in the right place at the right time.
(Supplies Used: Cardstock Bazzill, Patterned Papers Heidi Swapp/Pebbles, Wood Alphas Pink Paislee, Wood Embellishment Studio Calico, Star Brads Making Memories, Soup Label Jillibean Soup, Die Cut My Minds Eye, Buttons Jenni Bowlin/Misc, Circle Punch, Corner Rounder, Stick Pin, Floss, Tiny Alphas Jillibean Soup, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and font Veteran Typewriter downloaded from the Internet)
My layout inspiration came from the article below torn from a copy of Health magazine. I was really drawn in by how the negative space was used so I recreated this look on my layout.
Thanks for joining me for a little mid week inspiration. Happy Crafting
