Happy day from the Jillibean Soup booth. If you are at the show come by and check us out at booth #2866. We had a rocking busy day today and I really didn't get a chance to snap any photos.
One final note check out my Bean Blossom head band I made this morning. I am known for rocking the cute head bands so this one was a no brainer.
Check out the morning traffic we hit this morning on our way from Target to the convention center this morning.
Here are a few shots from the booth. We had a pretty wild day today. Our booth was covering a fire shut off valve and we had to have our booth shifted about a foot.
Self portrait of Kimber and I :)
Tomorrow is the big day. The show opens tomorrow at 10 am. Happy Crafting friends.
Today I arrived in So. Cal and was greeted with sunny weather and temps over 75. WOW it was like culture shock in a good way. I met up with Jill and Kimber at the airport and we immediately headed over to CBS for a taping of the Price is Right. We had a few hours to kill so why not try to win a BRAND NEW CAR. It was a barrel of laughs and a great way to regroup ad de-stress right before the show. Tomorrow is set up. I will have updates from the show so stay tuned for more.
We adopted this little fellow about 2 weeks ago. He's super cute totally cuddly. He's a 2 year old double dapple Dachshund. How could you resist those eyes.
Needless to say I have been buried under scraps of patterned paper for a couple of weeks prepping for CHA and putting the finishing touches on the spring issue of Scrapbooking & Cards Today. Tomorrow morning I am heading down to Southern California to meet up with the Jillibean crew (a.k.a Jill "the big bean" and Kimber). As much work as the show is I wouldn't miss it for the world. I love being around like creative minds and we always have a great time.
Assuming I have acces to the internet I will be updating from the show with all kinds of photos from the Jillibean booth.
Happy Monday Folks. First on the agenda is announcing the January Mini Kit winner (drum roll please) ... congratulations Stephanie S.
Now on to other business today is the BCS bowl game go DUCKS! This apparently is the hottest ticket in town. My kids are off to school in their finest DUCK gear.
Over the holiday break Corinne and I made a paper bead necklace from Yellow and Green Sugar Soup Staples paperfrom Jillibean Soup. She has been wearing it daily ever since. Jillibean Soup's Soup Staples collection is double sided with dots on one side and grid on the other. When we rolled the beads we used both sides of the paper.
(Supplies Used: Jillibean Soup patterned paper and twine)
Paper beads are a great craft for kids. I plan on putting up super simple instrutions on how you make your very own paper necklace soon.
For a few laughs check out Jimmy Fallon's Oregon DUCKS power ballad ...
Who new we were already a week into the new year and I had yet to make an appearance here. Let's me summarize what's been going down since Christmas ...
after Christmas we took off for Central Oregon to celebrate the New Year
