I have this habit of taking photos of my projects while I am scrapbooking but then I download them and they get lost among all my other photos. I made it a point to pull these photo out to share a little peek at the process that goes on when I get crafty. I would say 99% of the time I sketch my layouts in advance. I use spiral bound graph paper, one square is the equivalent to an inch.
No sketch is ever final. Some layouts look exactly like my sketches while other take on another form. This one changed just a bit. For some reason I moved the journaling around. I actually prefer the placement on my sketch but when it came down to it I didn't like the overlap on the photos.
(Supplies Used: Cardstock Bazzill, Lily Bee Designs Patterned Paper/Die Cuts/6x6 Paper Pad/Tiny Alpha Stickers, Punches from Martha Stewart and Stampin Up, Sticker My Minds Eye, Silhouette Cutting System, JoAnn's Floral Stick Pins, and Fonts Veteran Typewriter and Old Sans)
Here are a couple of close up photos, as you can tell I am a little obsessed with using negative space.
Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting.
So fun to see your process! I'm loving your obsession with negative space. I have yet to really try that on a page, but you have me inspired!
