a perfect Banner every time

OK check it out ... I have a plethora of die cutting tools littering my office. I try to make sure I don't let anything go unused. I don't have much space so if I don't use it I don't hold on to it. I just don't have the time to spend digging through piles to find the perfect "whatever" for my next page. But I digress ... so everyone is on the banner bandwagon right ...yes including me. One morning it just comes to me ...

Can you see it ... I couldn't help but jump around my office. This Harlequin die made for the Cuttlebug from Provo Craft is the perfect banner and I have it in 3 sizes. No more measuring and trimming triangles. Once I cut my diamond images i simply folded them in half and sewed them directly on my layout.  I like the added dimension of folding the diamond in half plus you can always slip some ribbon or twin in the fold to further the banner look. Or you can simply cut the diamond in half. VIOLA ...

Almost-10

(Supplies Used: Bazzill Cardstock, Little Yellow Bicycle Patterned Paper and stickers, Jenni Bowling butterflies and stick pins, Flair from American Crafts, brads from Basic Grey, Scallops from Fiskars and Stampin Up,  Corrugated alphas & stickers from Jillibean Soup and Core'dinations Cosmo Cricket Specialty Paper)

I also checked out my Slice and the basic disc has a wider triangle that would make a great flag for your next banner. So the lesson here kids is keep your eyes open and think of all the fun ways you can make your tools work for you.

Happy Monday :)
